Yawn...Monday Morning
Where did my weekend go? Those are my thoughts on this tired Monday morning, and probably sound fairly familiar to all of you who have been reading this blog (that is how my typical Monday morning thoughts go). I am actually feeling a bit extra tired this morning, but think it is just some of the effects of pregnancy on my sleeping patterns. I have been noticing an increase in certain side effects over the last week or so, and guess it is important to note & realize that the 3rd trimester is just around the corner.
We did make a very good purchase over the weekend though, on our first trip to Babies R Us (the actual bricks & mortar building, have been doing lots of browsing on its website for quite a few weeks now)...a pregnancy support belt. I call it my girdle, Ryan says its like a weight lifting belt -- but either way, it is designed to provide support to my growing belly and increasingly strained back. So far, it feels pretty good, and I actually already have it on this morning.
A more fun purchase at Babies R Us that you might enjoy more hearing about: Ryan picked out a very cute baby book (Winnie the Pooh) for little Maisie. We actually started filling out some of it yesterday -- basically all of the parts that don't require Maisie to be here ("All About Mommy", "All About Daddy", "Family Trees", and early pregnany stuff). Hopefully we'll stay diligent about filling out completely (or at least fairly completely), but understand that the arrival of the baby can sometimes hamper the best of intentions.
