Got Our 1st Ultrasound

And sorry, cannot say whether Baby D is a boy or girl just yet...not because we don't know (because we do), but because of a video montage that we are putting together for Baby D. Basically have video'd different family members plus ourselves getting each person's vote or thoughts on whether Baby D is going to be male or female.

Well, we wanted to get a few of my family members on there as well, and since we will be seeing them on Friday, will have to hold off on sharing the news on the blog (they're pretty loyal readers) for a few more days. But what I can share right now:

-Baby D is only one baby (nope, no twins this time around).

-And is a healthy baby, with everything in the right place & in the right number.

-Also quite an active baby (which probably most are), and wasn't characterized as totally cooperative by our ultrasound tech in getting pictures taken.

-Got some good pictures though (it just took a little time) including a foot bottom, the face (though partly hidden...looking a bit like a 1-eyed child in the pic), and the full body outline.

-And we have pretty much settled on one name -- a middle name still eludes us (and I guess the first name really isn't final / official until it gets signed on that birth certificate).
