Good & Bad
Well, yesterday's work day was both good & not so good...not so good because I am having to deal with some data validation issues (my least favorite activity...and will probably still be dealing with this morning) but good because our panel team ended up winning an award from our company. So each of us gets $50, plus for a couple of us (including me) who put in a little extra work on the "award-winning" project, we also get an additional personal day added.
Think I can find a use for both the $50 as well as the personal day...thank you! God definitely knows how to bless us some days when we need it. And speaking of small blessings, Ryan & I have been enjoying growth in our new herb garden. When we were planning out our outside vegetable/fruit garden that we want to start this year, also decided to pick up seeds/pots to start a small herb garden inside with.
It is still very much in its beginning stage, but always very cool to see green stuff popping up out of the ground -- means something is going right...and gets us super-excited about our upcoming outside veggie/fruit garden (corn, tomatoes, onions, peppers, watermelon, cucumbers, etc). And you know what fresh produce means? Besides yummy meals, it also means lots more canning opportunities (and we love our new pressure canner/cooker, particularly Ryan who has been canning beans like crazy...which earned him the nickname "old woman" from his sister).
