Crawling All Over the Place

Now that Maisie has figured out some of the basics of crawling, it has opened a whole new world for her in our home (& others). It is still kind of a funny crawl (w/ her picking her knees up off the ground), but think that is largely driven by our hard wood floors...we only have one carpeted room. Because of this, we have heard (& the doctor thought it as well) that she will likely be an early walker. Gives me a little bit of nervousness to think of her walking, but I will enjoy her slow crawling for now (and remove as much lower level "breakables" as I can).

She got to enjoy crawling around an apartment last night that we were helping to get ready for a refugee family of 5 from Burma whom are arriving on Friday night. We moved in some bed frames & a couch, unpacked & washed dishes/pans/glasses, got the bathroom ready for use, unpacked some misc. items, and made one of the beds which was put together. We were a little tired by the end of the evening, but it was a fun way to spend a Wednesday night...and now looking forward to meeting the family on Friday night. What an overwhelming move this must be for them, so glad that we could help in some small ways to prepare a new home for them.
