Relay Time is Here Again

Hard to believe it is that time of year again, but enjoyed the kick-off gathering for our Relay for Life last night. I particularly was inspired by the message from our keynote speaker, a mom and her young daughter who were both cancer survivors (the daughter was diagnosed when she was 3 with retinal cancer & the mother with hodgkins a few years ago). And I, of course, also enjoyed taking pictures with our new camera -- it is going to make capturing Relay events even better.

In case you were wondering, Maisie did like her serving of sweet potatoes puree but not quite as much as she loved her new Rice Cereal w/ Apples that we gave to her for dinner. She was kicking her feet & squealing with excitement between spoonfuls during that meal. So much fun, our little one.
