Monday is Here, Again

Yawn, it is another Monday morning...Not feeling quite ready to start the week yet, but usually takes an hour or so of work to get that "groove" back. And then will hold onto until Friday afternoon where I will happily relinquish it for another wonderful weekend.

This weekend was mostly a working weekend -- with being away for so many weekends lately, we spent a majority of our weekend working on home projects. But it was still a good weekend and even had our friend Brandon stop by to help out on Saturday afternoon (he lives in an apartment so enjoys getting to do stuff like this every once in awhile). I spent most of my time priming and painting (moulding for the back-porch windows, lattice pieces), though did also accomplish some gardening & putting in some pound-in border around the peonies (which are about ready to leave us for the winter).

But don't worry, in the evenings we made sure to relax...watched some movies that Jen gave us for my birthday, worked on my quilt, listened to what we thought was a horrible 1st half on the Nebraska/Missouri game (the 2nd half, which we thankfully slept through, was much worse), and watched a little bit of NFL on Sunday.
