Not Quite Law & Order

Ryan had a bit of a unique afternoon today...he had to testify in juvenile court as a witness to a fight that occurred at Parrish last semester -- he had been one of the main teachers to break it up. Think it was an interesting experience for him, but did say that it wasn't nearly as cool / exciting as Law & Order. Though Ryan did get an objection called (and it was "sustained" by the judge) on part of his testimony at one point, so that was kind of more Law & Order-ish.

My day was fairly standard in comparison, but that was ok with me...it is good to have a mostly routine day every once in awhile. Since I have started blogging more consistently at night now, have been able to then consistently fit in my mini-wheats (vanilla creme, of course), prayer / reading, and quilting time each morning. Since I spend a majority (if not all) of my work day on two computers, it is a bit better start than when I was blogging, I have to admit (though a morning blog here & there will still sometimes be needed or desired).

More "Christmas-like" activity keeps taking place...the arrival of Maisie's crib (thanks to Stacy & Gretchen and the two prior crib users, Sam & Max) on Tuesday evening, a gift of a few extra articles of maternity clothing from my friend Sarah K (including a pair of jeans & some shorts...very much needed!), and today, the delivery of a crib mattress from my Dad & Smom. Unlike my future nephew Benjamin, Maisie does not quite have a completed room ready for her just yet -- though she definitely is piling up quite a bit of stuff in the extra room in preparation. But we still got lots of time, right? :)
