Snow Day!!

Quite a few inches of snow has fallen and more is expected to come throughout today, so Ryan is at home with us today enjoying a school "snow day". And if it is as heavy as they are predicting, thinking he might be home with us tomorrow...although it is fairly powdery (too cold for the heavy stuff), so maybe not. But I will definitely enjoy today together.

And know Maisie will definitely love having her Daddy at home with her. Each day, I think she becomes more & more a Daddy's Girl. One of my favorite times of the day is to watch her reaction when he comes home from school. As soon as Maisie hears the key turning in the door, she gives a loud squeal (or screech might be more accurate) and goes running as quickly as she can towards the door.

And then when she sees him, she screams some more and then takes off running in the opposite direction as she wants him to chase her. It is awesome, I love it! Hope it also serves a good example to Maisie some day on how her father/daughter relationship with our Lord should be as well.
