Baby Updates

Annie Update: We are now in the 33rd week of pregnancy! Annie should now weigh a little over 4 pounds and also is probably up over 17 inches long. She is starting to lose her wrinkled alien look, though the "alien in my belly" stage as began where her movements are much more obvious and can be seen through my clothing.

Annie's womb movements are similar to Maisie's in many ways, but also in some ways different -- she is not as apt to kick you when you place your hand or something on your belly as Maisie was...which is probably a good thing since Maisie likes to lay her head on my stomach sometimes (think she is going to miss my big belly when it is gone...it is currently a place of relaxing and fun for her).

Maisie Update: Think she is currently going through a growth spurt as she has become quite a good eater at meal times (often cleaning her plate!). Maisie's love for her pink clogs has also continued, and a morning doesn't go by where she doesn't bring me her shoes to be put on. It is quite funny to see her wearing the shoes with her pjs.

Maisie is also getting to the point where I really can't turn my back on her for very long at all; otherwise she will be into or onto something that she likely shouldn't be. For example, this morning, we were hanging out in the kitchen while I was cleaning & putting dishes away. I heard her happily "chatting" away, so I turned around to see what she was so happy about...and she had pulled an apple core (eaten yesterday) out of the trash can and started gnawing away on it. ICK!!!
