Family & Friends
After a good weekend spent with family (except for the incident involving their car) and friends, it was time to start back to work again this Monday afternoon. Though can't complain, working 4.5 to 5 hours a day is a pretty nice thing for the most part. I love having the mornings free to spend with Ryan & Maisie, enoying some outside yardwork time, or whatever that morning might hold (tomorrow's will include a trip to WM for our weekly supply of groceries).
Tonight, we got to spend a couple hours with the Afghan family that we are friends with. Unfortunately between ours & their schedules, we hadn't been able to get together for quite a few weeks so it was nice to be able to connect again tonight. Plus they really enjoy getting to spend time with our little Maisie (and Maisie seems to really enjoy them as well...but overall she is a pretty friendly kid once she warms up to you), and are definitely excited about the upcoming arrival of our little Annie.
Which speaking of Annie, I am getting more and more excited about her arrival as well as I have been spending some time over the last couple of days organizing Maisie's out-grown clothes into totes (I had been using the Ziploc Big Bags, but that system was no longer really working for us)...and thus thinking about Annie wearing those same clothes. And also realized that Annie definitely will not need a lot of clothes -- so if you decide you want to buy something for her, please skip the clothing section, and move right to the bibs & burp rags area! :)
