Slope Project Pictures

And in case you were having trouble visualizing what we are doing with our slope project...

Here is the "Before" picture of the short side of the slope (I had sprayed with plant / weed killer a few weeks before, so had killed most of the stuff on there...also, do you think the city will let us paint their lovely manhole cover?):

And here is an "In Progress" Picture from our first few hours of work on it (Day 1...it almost must get worst before it can get better!):

Yesterday, we took a bit of a break from the slope and the only work that we did towards it was a trip to Menards to pick up landscape fabric (blocks the weeds), burlap (will place on top of the landscape fabric, the mulch will stick better to it), and landscaping staples (to hold landscape fabric / burlap in place).
