Early Riser

Well, I think it is official, Maisie has decided that her new wake time is 5:30am...my theory is that she thinks if she sleeps in til 6 or 6:30am, she might miss out on some crucial Daddy time. Either that or its those loud birds whistling away outside (they get started not too long after 4am!). Since we usually get up about 15 minutes later, it is not too big of a deal on weekday mornings (though she is usually needing her morning nap earlier than normal on those days) but definitely not a fun wake-up call on the weekend. Though guess we can say that we are more productive with those early starts of the day...

Looking forward to the weekend and hopefully more nice weather (like last weekend) -- big plan for Saturday is to plant our vegetable garden for the season. We have some nice tomato, zucchini, and cucumber plants that we got at last Saturday's plant sale which are ready to go into the ground. We may need to pick up a few more plants, but everything else can be by seed. The ground finally dried out enough for Ryan to till this week, so the ground is now ready for planting. Love this time of year!
